Scott Ferguson is an Associate Professor of Humanities & Cultural Studies at the University of South Florida. His research and work focus on aesthetic theory, modern money theory, and critiques of neoliberalism. His book Declarations of Dependence explores the relationship between money and aesthetics, and begins to reground critical theory in a reimagined ontology of money that extends beyond the neoliberal.
